Terms and Conditions

By booking a service with BrickHouse Inspections (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully as they outline our responsibilities and yours.

1. Services

We provide HVAC, air duct cleaning, mold remediation, and related services.
All work will be performed to professional standards and in line with industry standards.

2. Estimates and Payments

  • Estimates are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements are made in writing.
  • Credit card payments may include a processing fee of up to 4%.
  • Overdue balances may be subject to late fees or interest charges as allowed by law.

3. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

  • Appointments are based on availability.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, emergencies, or supply shortages,
    but we will communicate promptly and reschedule as needed.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, unobstructed access to the service area.
  • Inform us of any known hazards (e.g., asbestos, lead, or unsafe structures).
  • Secure personal belongings in the work area before service begins.
  • Ensure the work area is cleared of any furniture or obstacles that may interfere with service.
  • The Client is responsible for ensuring that any equipment left on-site for mitigation or remediation is safeguarded
    from damage, tampering, or misuse, and acknowledges responsibility for the security and protection of such equipment
    while it remains at the property.

5. Liability

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or issues uncovered during service.
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the specific service provided.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
    (e.g., loss of use, business interruptions).

6. Warranties

  • We guarantee our workmanship for 45 days, unless otherwise noted in writing.
  • Equipment or materials may carry manufacturer warranties, which will apply separately.
  • We cannot guarantee that mold or similar conditions will not return if environmental factors are not corrected.

7. Disputes and Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
  • Any disputes will first be addressed through direct communication and good faith efforts to resolve.
    If unresolved, disputes may be handled through mediation or arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

8. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between you and BrickHouse Inspections regarding our services.
